Welcome to Mutts & Motion. By using our website and purchasing our mobility skates, you agree to the following terms. Our gear is designed to improve the quality of life for paralyzed or mobility-impaired dogs, and your pet’s safety is our priority.

1. Product Intention & Veterinary Advice

Mutts & Motion products are designed as assistive mobility aids for dogs with hind-limb paralysis or dragging paws.

  • Not a Medical Device: Our skates are not medical devices. We strongly recommend consulting with your veterinarian or a canine physical therapist before introducing any new mobility equipment to your dog.

  • Supervision Required: These skates are intended for use under direct human supervision only. Never leave your dog unattended while wearing our skates.

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability

By purchasing from Mutts & Motion, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Fit & Skin Health: It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the skates are fitted correctly. Improper fit can lead to sores, chafing, or circulation issues.

  • Surface Safety: Owners must monitor the surfaces the dog is "skating" on. Our skates are meant to protect paws from dragging, but should not be used on dangerously steep or slippery terrain.

  • Liability Waiver: Mutts & Motion is not liable for any injury, secondary infection, or skin irritation that may occur during the use of our products. You assume all responsibility for the health and safety of your pet while using this gear.

3. Sizing & Accuracy

Because these skates are used by dogs with unique physical needs, sizing is critical.

  • Measurement: You agree to follow our sizing guides accurately. Mutts & Motion is not responsible for injuries or equipment failure caused by purchasing the incorrect size for your dog’s weight or paw dimensions.

  • Product Variations: Small variations in color or material may occur as we strive to improve the durability of our protective gear.

4. Return & Refund Integration

All purchases are subject to our 7-Day Return Policy.

  • Hygiene Note: Due to the nature of this product, any skates returned with significant pet hair, odors, or outdoor debris will be subject to our 20% restocking fee or may be denied at the discretion of Mutts & Motion to maintain hygiene standards for our inventory.

5. Prohibited Use

These skates are designed specifically for dogs with paralysis or neurological dragging. They are not intended for:

  • Human use.

  • Non-canine animals.

  • Healthy dogs for "recreational" skating.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, branding, and "Mutts & Motion" logos are the property of our company. You may not reproduce or "drop-ship" our products without express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Mutts & Motion, our employees, or our suppliers be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to veterinary bills or replacement costs.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida.
