Return & Refund Policy

At Mutts & Motion, we want to ensure you get the perfect roll. If your skates aren't the right fit, we are happy to help you with a return or evaluation.

1. The 7-Day Return Window

All return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. After 7 days, all sales are considered final. Please inspect your skates immediately upon arrival to ensure they fit correctly.

2. The "Carpet Rule" (Testing Your Skates)

To remain eligible for a full refund, we strictly advise trying on your skates indoors on a carpeted surface only. This allows you to check the fit and feel without scuffing the wheels, stoppers, or boots. Once skates are used on pavement, wood floors, or outdoors, they are no longer considered "New."

3. Returns of Unused Items

We accept returns on skates that are in brand-new, unused condition.

Eligibility: Skates must be returned in their original packaging. They must show zero signs of wear (no dirt, pet hair, or scuffs).
Refund Amount: You will receive a 100% refund of the purchase price.
Return Shipping: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

4. Returns of Used Items & Restocking Fees

If the skates have been used (showing signs of wear on wheels or boots), a refund is not guaranteed.

Discretionary Review: Returns for used skates are subject to the sole discretion of Mutts & Motion.
Restocking Fee: If we elect to accept a return for used skates, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to account for the diminished value of the equipment.
Denial: We reserve the right to deny a return entirely if the skates are damaged or show excessive wear.

5. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return within your 7-day window, please contact us at muttsandmotion@gmail.com with:

Your order number.
Clear photos of the boots and wheels to verify condition.

6. Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are typically processed back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
